nanny care - Fri 2nd Apr 2010

My grandson developed eczema at six months he had been on cows milk from birth , as I drink goats milk myself I ordered nanny care for my daughter to try ,he seems much better thanks.

- Tue 22nd Sep 2009

After really struggling to breast feed by first son, I nervously tried cow's milk formula, as I and most of my family have allergy to cow's and soya milk. Will became very unwell, with eczema, asthma and generally a unhappy baby. Having been brought up on goats milk from the farm, we hunted around for a formula alternative, when we got this he became a different child. He is now a thriving 4yr old who loves goats milk. When 2nd son arrived and again struggled to feed we put him straight on goats milk formula and had none of the problems that we'd had with Will. With baby number 3 on the way we will use goats milk formula again.

I have had lots of opposition from medical staff, but having been brought up in allergy clinics and a nurse myself felt I was making an informed decision. Cow's milk is a mucous stimulant and many children find goats milk much easier to break down as it has smaller fat lipids. Goats are more alike humans with only one stomach for breaking down milk as opposed to cows who have 4 stomachs to break down each part of the milk. It is true that some people who are allergic to cows milk will also be allergic to goat's milk but this is not always the case. It's worth looking into.

Upon advice we got this milk for our grandson who is allergic to cows milk, so far its been great! He's no longer bloated or bringing back up his milk.

He also sleeps alot better throughout the night.
7/10 for nanny care.

Nanny Care Goat Milk - Fri 2nd Nov 2007

I had problems breastfeeding my first child and eventually found this product to supplement his feeding. Formula was never my first choice but I refused to consider cows milk products. My son took to this really well, he thrived on it in fact!
As a replacement for cows milk intolerances or substitutes I recommend Nanny Care goats milk. This particular product has nothing added in which could harm your baby, no added sugars, preservatives, fats etc. Not every child can tolerate this better than a cows milk formula but it is more easily digestible and therefore less stressful on the fragile infanct intestine.

Cereal idea - Tue 31st Dec 2013

Either tear up with your fingers or use a sharp knife to turn a normal soft loaf of bread into small 1 inch bits, fill a cereal bowl with the result, then sprinkle on some brown sugar. Pour over some hot milk and enjoy a slightly different cereal. Plain bread is rather nice when soaked in milk and making it into a cereal is great change.

- Fri 15th Jun 2007

I started using this milk for my son after trying many brands/types as he was getting very sick-y and mucous-y on cows milk (was sounding like a rattling medicine bottle!)
He's loads better on this milk and is so much better (shame I can't say the same about my pocket...!)
