Clearspring Organic Hatcho Miso is prepared traditionally and  aged to a centuries old recipe using the finest whole organic ingredients. Use Clearspring hatcho miso to give a more hearty flavour to beans, sauces, spreads,  simmered or baked dishes, vegetable soups and stews. Just dilute with cooking liquid and add.

Whole soya bean koji (cultured whole soya beans) (65%), water, sea salt and a trace of roasted barley flour.

Ideal whenever salt is needed and a flavour of gravy or yeastiness would enhance the meal. Things like on chips, a broth for dipping, or with vegetables. Also it pairs wonderfully as a thin spread for sandwiches and a glazing for meats .

I love making miso soup, and this has such a deep, rich, earthy flavour. The best miso I've tried.

Miso should always be unpasteurized in order to be beneficial, but most of the time it isn't.
This one has a very rich taste and is made according to tradition, hence it comes highly recommended.
