Serving Suggestion

Easy beef stir-fry
400g Beef Steak
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tsp fresh ginger grated
1 tbsp Soya Sauce
1 tbsp cornflour
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 cup (250 ml) beef stock
1 bunch broccoolini, cut into 3cm lengths
2 cups (200g) snow peas trimmed
1 cup (50g) bean sprouts, rinsed

Slice beef into very thin slices. Combine oil, garlic and ginger into a bowl. Add beef strips, shake around to ensure they are well coated. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
In a small bowl combine soya sauce with cornflour and chilli powder to form a paste. Add beef stock slowly, stirring well until evenly blended. Heat extra oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
Add beef stock, cook for 2 minutes, or until lightly browned. Add vegetables and stir-fry for about 2 to 4 minutes or until tender. Add prepared sauce, heat through for 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened slightly and coating all meat and vegetables. Serve immediately over Eskal's steamed rice noodles.

This is really good rice pasta, I like this brand

The best! - Wed 25th Jun 2014

My wok does a lot of work when I have these! I can get two servings out of one packet or one big batch for guests/to last a while. They soak up any sauce and spices used so well and if handled properly they don't tear easily whilst cooking though they can be easy to break before they go soft. I tend to soak them for a few minutes first then cook.

Fuss free noodles, just pour boiling water over and leave to sit then drain. Fast food and delicious with stir fried vegetables.

- Tue 15th Oct 2013

Delicious, great texture, cooks really quickly, very filling, you only need a small amount, the bag is huge and especially great value for the small price.

Excellent - Tue 9th Apr 2013

These are fabulous and a firm favourite in my household. We use these for traditional Asian style stir frys but they also stand up well with other styles like 3 bean and tomato, or something more exotic like coconut milk and pineapple. They don't need much cooking or extra water at all and make a lot more servings than expected! I personally love them fried with spinach and chick peas.

So quick and easy! - Wed 17th Oct 2012

If you're looking for an alternative to spaghetti or tagliatelle in your diet, then these are a great solution. They do taste a little different, but it's a GOOD taste, not a tasteless one. They're also good for absorbing flavour if you use them in soups and other liquid based dishes.

Since they come in clumps of three in a packet, one of those clumps is enough to feed two or three people, depending on the volume of the other food you're serving. They're also good on their own with a little seasoning and perhaps some olive oil.

Good for Crispy Noodles too. - Wed 12th Sep 2012

Rice noodles can also be deep fried to use them as an addition to many Oriental dishes, the Eskai Medium noodles work very well.

- Fri 9th Dec 2011

Excellent value and very quick/easy to use. These noodles work very well in soup-based dishes and are very filling.

- Thu 26th May 2011

Very good value, and lovely taste and texture. I would love to get them made with brown rice, though, for balance.
I used them in home-made spring rolls and it was a bit buly but worked fine and was pretty good.

Tips

Boil in flavoured water - Tue 7th Jan 2014

A simple way to enrich with a sweeter, sharper flavour is to boil noodles in water that has brown sauce diluted in it as already contains lots of lovely ingredients that kick.

Soaking before use? - Mon 14th Nov 2011

Some recipes for Rice Noodles suggest soaking before boiling for a more even texture. I haven't found that step necessary.
