Lovely! - Thu 8th Oct 2015

Rather amazing really, texture, taste and smell almost the same as Tuna, made a lovely sandwich

Great! - Mon 16th Feb 2015

I really liked this tuna style pate, it goes really well on toast or even with some vegan mayo on a jacket potato.

Not So Fishy, But Still Rather Dishy - Sat 29th Nov 2014

A good pate with no offensive odour (yay!). I had to 'smush' it onto oatcakes rather than spread it, but I found that mixing it up with some vegan mayo to add as a topping to a baked potato was very tasty.

Very convincing - Tue 26th Feb 2013

I wasn't too sure about this when I tried it at a friend's home because even though I've tried lots of pates, I'm not overly keen on them. It really is quite tasty and I'm glad to say doesn't make me think of fish when eating it - it's the same with other soya/tofu/gluten meat substitutes, I don't think of them as eating alternatives, I just like them for what they are. This tastes good with vegan mayo and sweetcorn in nice bread - a great sandwich filling!

Tasty - Wed 28th Mar 2012

I think this stuff is great for a fish sandwich substitute, but probably only once in a while. It seems quite loaded with salt and fat - not that I'm sure of the technical content, but from a taste perspective, I'd limit it to an occasional treat.

we love it - Fri 2nd Sep 2011

I buy this pÔtÚ in Slovenia, and the whole family finds it delicious.

worth a try - Sun 28th Aug 2011

I actually love this. Just tried it for the first time and am very pleased. For years I've been looking for a substitute to the salmon and cucumber sandwiches that I had as a child. Of course, I've been veggie for so many years now that I don't accurately remember the original taste - so I'm probably not too picky. The texture isn't smooth, like usual pate = more like fish from a tin. Worth a try if you're anything like me.

One star for effort, but really they shouldn't have bothered in my opinion.

No matter how hard I tried I couldn't make this edible. Vile. I wasn't hankering after real tuna- so I wasn't that fussed that it tasted nothing like it, it was the texture that was totally off putting - very clagey.
I can make something far nicer out of chickpeas, for alot less money, and alot less fat - especially once I'd smothered in vegenaise in an attempt to eat it!
