Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Oat Flour is milled from the purest gluten free oats grown by over 200 farmers on clean, dedicated oat-growing fields. This whole grain flour is excellent for adding to gluten free baked goods to impart a true oat flavor and wholesome nutrition. The flour is milled and packaged in our 100% gluten free facility and tested for gluten to ensure purity.

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars:
Adapted from 1000 gluten-free recipes by Carol Fenster (Wiley, 2008)
113g (1/2 cup) Unsalted butter or non-hydrogenated buttery spread, melted
10ml (2tsp) Pure GF vanilla extract, divided
120g (1 cup) Gluten free oat flour
100g (2 cup) BRM GF Rolled oasts
100g (1/2 cup) Sugar
5g (1-1/2tsp) Xanthan gum
4g (1 tsp) Grated Lemon zest
8g (1/2 tsp) Sea salt
227g (2/3 cup) Raspberry jam or preserves

Pre-heat oven to 190c. Generously grease 20cm x 20cm tin. In medium bowl, combine melted butter and 1 teaspoon of the vanilla. Stir in flour, oats, sugar, xanthan gum, baking powder, lemon zest and salt until thoroughly blended.
Press 100g (1 cup) of oat mixture firmly on bottom of tin. stir remaining teaspoon of the vanilla into raspberry jam until smooth, then spread evenly on top. Sprinkle remaining oat mixture over jam, then pat firmly to make the top layer smooth and even. Bake 20-25 minutes or until top is lightly browned and firm. Cool bars in a tin for 30 minutes on a wire rack. Cut into 16 squares and serve at room temperature. makes 16 bars.

Good quality flour - Mon 21st Sep 2015

This flour is a nice product and perfect for adding to gluten-free cake recipes. It's a shame it is not organic as the rest of the products in my pantry are, but a good quality product nonetheless.
