This organic and unrefined sugar has been minimally processed to give a distinct rich flavour by locking in the sugar's natural molasses.It has a mellow, rounded flavour and natural honey colour, and is perfect for icings, butter cream, dessert pastry, meringues and cake fillings.
Ingredients
Natural unrefined sugar, organic corn flour. This is naturally gluten-free, not tested.

Strawberry Toasts - Tue 7th Aug 2012Beat together 4 eggs and 190 ml milk. Soak 4 slices of white bread in the egg mix. Take bread out of the egg mix and sprinkle one side thickly with icing sugar. Melt a knob of butter in a frying pan and fry the French toasts sugar side down until golden. Sprinkle the top side with more icing sugar and turn over in the pan. Pile with strawberries and serve immediately. You can warm the strawberries first if you wish.

A Baker - Mon 18th Aug 2014Who doesn't love a bit of icing sugar on top of desserts and sweet breads? I use this so much when I find something needs a little extra sweetness after baking/cooking and of course it looks lovely to have on top - it's so soft and fine yet marvelously sweet!

Lovely icing sugar, I use this mostly to make butter icing for cakes and biscuits, it mixes really well and doesn't clump as much as some other varieties.

Try toasting slices of panettone, then sprinkle with a little icing sugar and serve with mascarpone mixed with icing sugar and brandy. Serve with halved pears for a Xmas dessert.
