Isoflavones are natural plant hormones, taken mainly from soya beans or red clover, which have a chemical structure similar to that of our own estrogen. Because of this, taking natural isoflavones can help were we may need more of less estrogen. Isoflavones appear to protect against hormone-related disorders such as breast cancer and prostate cancers, they may also ease menopausal symptoms and improve bone health. Isoflavones also have potent anti-oxidant properties.
