All organic beef is from local organic farms (in the Heart of Wales), where the animals are of native breeds. After local slaughter, the meat is matured on the bone ('hung') for around 3 weeks before butchering.
Every pack of meat is labelled with traceablity information back to the farm, the farmer and breed of animal. Graig Farm Organics have a Producer Group of some 200 organic farmers across Wales and the Borders. You can even stay on some of the organic farmers' farms. They also support the FairTrade system. Wherever possible, produce is sourced as locally as possible.
