Why use a mouth wash?

Our mouths, teeth and toothbrushes are full of bacteria. This bacteria devours the food particles on our teeth, and produce acid as a by-product. It is this acid which eats into the enamel on our teeth creating cavities. By using a mouthwash you can kill off those bacteria really effectively.
Mouth wash can be used before brushing, after brushing or both. The important thing is to keep the mouthwash in your mouth for around a minute and not to swallow it.
