In addition to the products below you may also want to try Cider Vinegar, tea tree shampoo and tea tree conditioner. It is generally thought that nits do not like tea tree. By using tea tree shampoo and conditioner the nits are initially repelled. If there is a problem with nits use Cider Vinegar to soak the hair, this apparently makes the nits 'drunk' and easy to comb out. After that rinse the hair and apply tea tree conditioner and re-comb. Rinse well. Repeat this process every 4 days for a while until the problem has vanished.
