Peanuts are not really a nut. They are a legume and grow on the ground (they are sometimes known as a ground nut). But its a very versatile food great for cooking, baking, eating on their own or flavouring!
Peanuts contain a high amount of protein and is a good source of Coenzyme Q10 which could protect the heart from lack of oxygen. Unsalted peanuts could be good for your arteries and peanuts that are roasted boost the antioxidant content by as much as 22%.
