Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept Visa (including electron), Mastercard, Delta, Switch, JCB and Solo cards. We deliver within the European Union. Orders from outside the European Union may be possible. Please email us if you would like to know if we can deliver to your region or country.

You can now earn Goodness loyalty points when you place an order online with GoodnessDirect. For every £1 you spend you get 1 Goodness point , and 2 points are worth 1p. It doesn't sound much, but they can soon mount up. New Goodness points are added to your account each time we ship your order.
To find out how many Goodness loyalty points you have, log into your account. There, on your log in screen, you will see the quantity and value of your loyalty points. You can also see this information on the checkout screen.
To redeem your Goodness loyalty points, place the items you want to buy in the shopping basket. At the bottom of the shopping basket it will display how many loyalty points you have and the value of the points, and there is a box to tick if you want to redeem the points on this order.
If you have entered a discount voucher code in the shopping basket, your Goodness loyalty points will be awarded on the final goods total after the discount has been removed.
Goodness loyalty points are not awarded for post, packing and box charges.

From time to time recipes, packaging, dietary classifications and ingredients vary and change and we may not always be as up to date as we would like to be, so please always check the details on the packaging before using. Please note that we store nuts on our premises along with all other products, we do not have a special nut free zone.
We deliver your order as soon as we can. Orders received before 11:00 will normally be sent to you in one or two business days by parcel carrier or Royal Mail. (UK mainland only) If you order any FRESH PRODUCE this will normally be sent to you within 2 or 3 business days.
We regret that we cannot send temperature controlled goods or fresh produce over seas or to some more remote UK locations.
Our UK deliveries are sent with a carrier on a "before close of work" basis which means that your order should generally arrive with you before 5.30pm on the day we have indicated. We cannot guarantee or specify a time of day.
Delivery options and any costs are calculated dynamically as you place your order and are displayed on the "my basket" or checkout page. We do our best to deliver to you free of charge but for certain orders, especially if they are heavy, this is not possible. More detail and the delivery cost breakdown are given below.
Free delivery for all orders for over £35 (online) or £45 (offline). Orders below these values carry a delivery charge according to the delivery method selected.
Light orders where all items can be posted (indicated by the green 'free delivery' icon) and over £4 are delivered free. If the order is under £4 postage is £1
Heavy orders (over 25 kg) may incur a surcharge of £6.50 (per 25 kg).
Chilled and Frozen products require special packaging and are subject to a £3.50 packing charge per section. This surcharge is dropped if the order value is over £75.
We have to make a delivery charge for orders outside the UK mainland. The value of this charge can be seen at the checkout stage by entering your address (remember to select the correct country from the drop down menu) and the goods you would like, the screen will indicate the delivery costs. There is no obligation to purchase even at this stage.
Orders for Chilled and Frozen goods have to reach a minimum level or they do not maintain their temperature during delivery. These minimum levels are: Chilled 6 items, Frozen 6 items. There is also a packing charge of £3.50 per box for the special insulated chilled and frozen boxes.

Occasionally the site will let you order a product but it may be not available when we pick your order. If this should happen, we will process the remaining items so that we get your order to you as soon as possible. If you want us to hold your order if specific items are not in stock please tell us when you place the order. Free delivery only applies if the value of available goods exceeds £35 for online orders and £45 for mail order/e-mail and phone orders.
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT where applicable. The VAT exclusive price is shown separately for the benefit of overseas customers for whom VAT does not apply.
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using SSL encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
If you do not want to give credit card details over the internet choose the “credit card sent separately” option at the checkout/payment screen. Then just phone us with your order number and card details (0871 8716611, calls charged at 10p per minute). All card details which are posted or faxed to us are shredded immediately after checking.

If you wish to cancel after we have despatched the goods then please call us on 0871 871 6611 (calls charged at 10p per minute) or email returns@GoodnessDirect.co.uk to arrange a return. In this instance, the charge made to you will be refunded on return of the goods. If the return is for reasons other than faulty / incorrect goods then we will need to ask you to cover the cost of returning the goods to us.
Frozen, chilled and “fresh” goods cannot be returned.
Most of us at GoodnessDirect are Christians. The business has its origins in a group of Christian friends working together in a Health Food shop during the mid 70's in the midlands. This small venture grew to a chain of 9 shops before switching emphasis to wholesaling health foods in the early 80's. The wholesale operation is still trading as Goodness Foods Wholesale from whom we source most of our lines.
At GoodnessDirect we work together on a co-operative basis, all earning the same wage whether order picker or manager. Our roots are in the Jesus Fellowship Church and our profits are generally either put back into the company or used for charitable causes. If you would like to know more please ask any of us.
We try to maintain high environmental standards with our packaging and use biodegradable or recyclable materials wherever possible. Obviously when sending products by mail it is very important to package them adequately to reduce the risk of breakage. We use triple walled cardboard boxes which are totally recyclable and fill these with biodegradable air pouches which you can easily puncture and either recycle or compost.
Chilled and frozen food orders are packed in special thermal cardboard insulated boxes that are 96% biodegradable. The plastic bags which contain the ice is not biodegradable at the moment.
We know that when you shop online, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us is kept safe and secure, and we promise to do that.
Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Cookies are small text files that web sites can send to your computer. A cookie can be thought of as your online ID card, which tells our site info about your order and user details. Cookies are not computer programs, and can't read other information saved on your hard drive. They cannot be used to spread viruses, or get a user's e-mail address etc. They only contain and transfer to the web site as much information as the users themselves have disclosed to that web site. Under the principles of the Data Protection Act we need to inform you that we hold a record of all the details we need for setting you up and servicing you as a customer. This includes special delivery instructions and dietary requirements if applicable. This information may also be used as a basis for sending you information we think will interest you. Should you wish not to included in this please tick the opt-out box at the point of ordering, but obviously we need the information on file to service you as a customer. If our records of your name, address, telephone number or any other special information are in any way inaccurate please let us know as we want to maintain up to date records.
