- Fri 23rd Feb 2007 I have been using Eco balls for about a month now. It took me a year to decide to buy them, as they are expensive, and I didn't know if they would be any good.
I am surprised how clean the clothes are, just using them. I thought I might have to add soda to the wash, but they clean perfectly well without adding anything else. I was worried that he clothes might smell stale, but they seem fine, as do towels. You get instructions on how to use the balls, and a refill. I like the fact that I won't have to buy washing powder any more, less carrying from the shops for me, as I don't have a car.
I will certainly save a lot of money by using these balls, and it's nice that they are also environmentally friendly. I like them! Reviewer's Name: Barbara
Eco-balls - Sat 1st Nov 2008 I use these balls !! I've used different makes of eco balls for years and have always been very pleased with them. So far i've not found anything that won't come clean/be removed by them!! Recently i've also tried soap pods/wash nuts, those are great too :-). Reviewer's Name: Alison Greenway
Eco-Balls - Wed 5th Nov 2008 I use Eco Balls every so often as I found my first trio cracked after I'd only been using them after a few months! The company replaced them, but since then I learnt that another friend of mine had exactly the same problem.
Also, I know that they can be re-filled but apparently the cases themselves are only good for 1000 washes so I really don't know what you do with the cases afterwards!
On the good side, they are a good investment as they do wash clothes really well at low temperatures, and you don't need to add softners or anything else to the wash. Reviewer's Name: Christina
