Recommended Dosage

Unless otherwise directed: Adults (over 12 years): 10-20 drops to be taken in water half an hour before retiring, repeat dose if necessary. Children (under 12 years): to be used under the guidance of a medical practitioner.

Ingredients

Constituents: 100ml contains: Avena sativa, Herba tincture 25ml/ humulus iupulus, fructuarium 1x4ml/passiflora incarnata, herba tincture 7.5ml/valeriana, radix, ethanolic decoction 60x15ml. Nominal ethanol content 45% v/v.

Weleda's Avena Sativa Comp combines herbal ingredients - oats, valerian, passionflower and hops - with the gentle action of homeopathy - a potency of coffee, on the principle that 'like cures like' to help combat over-stimulation. It's particularly useful if taken at night afer a stressful day, and can also be used to relieve temporary nervous irritability and daytime edginess as it won't cause drowsiness.
