This does leave your clothes softer but has no noticeable scent at all. I do prefer a lightly scented fabric conditioner, but it is a matter of personal preference. If you want unscented go for this, if you prefer a scented fabric conditioner you could try the ecover one (although ecover don't have such good green credentials as Bio-D)

This must the only unperfumed fabric condition on the market and consequently is the only brand that I can use. The company have great environmental and also cruelty free credentials which is another huge plus. The downside is that this fabric conditioner leaves yellow greasy deposits in the dispenser drawer of my washing machine, which is very difficult to remove. I used to use Ecover many years ago when they were still an independent company and they did not fragrance their products and I never had the same problem then. I'm in a win-lose situation as it is the only fabric conditioner that does not cause my skin to flare up but it makes such a mess. Sometimes the yellow greasy film will cause a ring around the inside of the bottle too.
