Product Details

Selenium is an essential trace mineral in the soil that enters the food chain through plants and plays an important role in many functions in the body - yet the UK dietary intake of selenium has fallen significantly in recent years. Research continues to highlight the antioxidant cell protection qualities of this mineral and vitamins A, C and E. Antioxidants help protect the body from oxidation, a process that can cause cells to deteriorate, by counteracting free radical damage.
Taking Selenium-ACE one-a-day tablets as part of a healthy lifestyle is the ideal way of ensuring an adequate intake of essential antioxidant nutrients and providing natural cell protection for the entire body.

Recommended Dosage

For those over 12 years of age: one tablet to be swallowed (with liquid if required) first thing every morning or last thing at night, on an empty stomach. A regular course is recommended.

Ingredients

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), selenium yeast, calcium phosphate, yeast powder, microcrystalline cellulose, vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopheryl succinate), potato starch, silicon dioxide, beta-carotene, magnesium stearate, acacia, vitamin A (retinyl acetate prep.), coating:-hypromellose, natural colours:- iron oxides.

Nutritional Information

Each tablet provides Vitamin A 450µg (56% RDA), Vitamin E (natural source) (45iu) 30mg (300% RDA), Vitamin C 90mg (150% RDA), Selenium 100µg.
RDA = Recommended Daily Allowance.
