I have found tiger Balm to be really soothing for my neck which goes into spasm sometimes. As Tiger Balm is a natural rub and is really effective as a heat rub, its the one I choose. It is very effective and quite strong.

Tiger Balm (red) 19g - Mon 3rd Dec 2007
I was recommended this product after suffering some muscular back-pain following work carried out on awkwardly positioned rainwater drains that had become blocked. I must be one of the unlucky ones to experience sever side-effects as mentioned in the Patient Information Leaflet. My back was soon exhibiting a bright red rash with soreness and itching which felt like first degree burns. My wife, who is an aromatherapist, consulted her treatment manual and found that clove oil, cajuput oil and cinnamon oil should all be avoided as each can cause an allergic skin reaction. Imagine my feelings knowing I had all three oils eating into my back and I lost no time in visiting my GP to obtain some antidote cream which eventually brought relief. So, buyers of this product beware that it can have potentially disastrous side-effects if you have sensitive skin like mine. Always try it out on a very small area first to see how you tolerate the ingredients. Take care!
