Product Details

Recommended Dosage

Adults: Take 1 tablet three times daily before meals.
Children (1-10 years): Take 1 tablet per day.
Black tea, coffee or other tannin containing products should not be drunk shortly before or after taking Floradix tablets.

Cautions

Floradix tablets should not be taken in the case of excess iron in the body, nor in the rare cases of chronic abnormal breakdown of the red blood cells. Contains yeast, maize and lactose.

Other Information

Floradix tablets are recommended:
To prevent latent iron deficiency
To support blood formation after loss of blood
In case of increased need for iron during pregnancy or nursing, during the years of growth and development and during convalescence
For general strengthening and increased vitality

These tablets are a really convenient way to take a complete nutritional supplement. I used to take the floradix liquid formula but I found it much easier to remember to take these tablets twice a day. They're also handy when travelling, particularly if you're vegan, since they provide all the extra vitamins and minerals you might need to be topped up with!

These are ok, useful for travel when you can't cart around a bottle of liquid floradix. It's cheaper too. But its just not as effective. It's ok, but don't choose it as an alternative to the liquid, which works immediately. The tablets took a day to really feel benefit, and it was less pronounced. That said, I still use these for travel,as they are easier on my system.
