Product Details

Cod liver oil is a natural source of vitamins A and D and the two essential fatty acids EPA and DHA. Vitamin A is essential for healthy skin hair teeth gums and vision. Amongst other things Vitamin D is required for the formation development and maintenance of bones. Cod liver oil may be of benefit to sufferers of inflammatory disorders such as arthritis.

Recommended Dosage

Adults &frac;-1 tablespoonful daily
5-12 years 1-2 teaspoonfuls daily
1-5 years &frac;-1 teaspoonful daily.

Ingredients

Malt extract, cod liver oil, butterscotch flavour.

Per 100g:
Energy 1585kj/375kcal, Protein 4.5g, Carbohydrate 67g, Fat 10g, Vitamin A 1500µg, Vitamin D 21.2µg.

Other Information

A traditional nutritious product with malt extract and all the natural goodness of fish oil with its vital vitamins and which is also a source of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Easily digested and palatable.

WE LOVE this stuff and are so happy to find it again. We bought the butterscotch flavour as it was the one mom gave us. DELICIOUS!!!! AND so good for you!! Everyone should try it.

I've taken this all my life and never tire of it. I don't get coughs and colds, nor stiff joints and according to bone density scans, have the bones of an 18 yr old, and I'm in my 60's! The butterscotch flavour is the more palatable. A recent serious illness should have damaged my bones but not so and vitamin A & D will help delay the damage I might subsequently have.

Great product enjoyed by all the family. Butterscotch flavour the favourite. Why is it so hard to purchase? I notice it is now temporarily unavailable on your site as well!
