Recommended Dosage

Shake at least one level teaspoon into fruit juice or stir into yoghurt.

Usage

Spirulina is a food and so can be taken in relatively large quantities when needed. Take at least 1tsp/day, but you can take up to 3x this amount, either in one go or throughout the day. Light sleepers may find the energising effect inhibits sleep so avoid late evenings.

I've tried every leading brand, but I have to say that my favourite is this brand of spirulina from Hawaii, you can taste the difference. In fact I eat this more for the taste than the nutrient content! Other ones I've tried either taste overbearingly strong, or rancid.

Spirulina is so good for you and is almost tasteless in green smoothies and juices. Ths particular brand is well priced and lasts a long time. Would also recommend chlorella.
