I use this colour every 6 or so weeks to cover my roots and top up my over all colour. After use it leaves my hair glossy and strong looking. Towards the end of the month I would say the ends look a bit dry and washed out but nothing compared to chemical brands I bought before. Lightening hair does damage it over time, but this has been a very gentle colour to use over all. It's slightly different in that you shampoo with the enclosed sachet, after the dye process, and then condition with tailored conditioner also enclosed. I like the idea that you shampoo the colouring solution off the hair, rather than leave it on, it limits sensitivity.

I apply to my roots and leave for about 45 minutes, then apply the left over dye solution to the rest of my hair for another 15 minutes. If you want block colour this might not be what your looking for, it gives me a naturally highlighted effect, slightly darker underneath and lighter on top but blended. I always get comments so I must be doing something right, and people dont guess is dyed (until the roots show) which is great. I have quite a few greys too but they are gone! Brilliant value for money.
