This is a wonderful hair dye that provides not only a gorgeous vibrant colour but also peace of mind that it won't damage your hair. It isn't tested on animals either so you don't feel bad using it. It is much better than most products you see on the high street that contain ammonia and other damaging chemicals. The orange colour was just what I wanted, however if you don't want to be called 'carrot-top' or 'ginger' all the time then don't buy! I loved the colour though! I have natural chestnut brown hair and the coverage was perfect, lightening my hair to a shade that was very close to the one on the box and lasting for over a month. The conditioning royal cream that came with it left my hair the softest and silkiest it has ever been. I think the Herbatint brand is as good as the Naturtint range and has a much wider selection of unusual colours. A good buy!

I bought this hair dye as I was looking for a permanent colour which wouldn't damage my hair I also loved the range of unusual colours they offered especially as I love having orange hair!! I applied the dye and it was nice knowing how natural the product was and it was noticeable by the fact there was no horrific smell or uncomfortable feeling while having it on my head. The colour was okay, not as bright as I expected it to be especially as my hair had been bleached [not specifically for this colour but a number of months ago]. I also found the colour didn't last at all, again this may be because of my hair being bleached. I was surprised how fast it washed out considering I have used semi-permanent dyes which have lasted a lot longer and given a brighter colour.
If you're looking for a "natural" looking orange/ginger hair dye then this might be the colour for you!! However if you wish something bright and "out there" you might be better off with a semi-permanent colour!
