Product Details

Virtually everybody has problems sleeping at sometime or another. This may cause chronic tiredness that badly affects everyday life. There can be a number of causes of insomnia and many people will look for a natural solution to getting a good night’s sleep, enabling them to wake up feeling fully refreshed.

Recommended Dosage

For maximum benefit, product should be taken for 2-4 weeks continuously.

Adults and the elderly:
Take 1 to 2 tablets half and hour before bedtime. If necessary, an additional tablet can be taken earlier in the evening.
Swallow the tablets whole with some water or other liquid. Do not chew the tablets.

Usage

Used to promote a good night’s sleep. Helps you wake feeling refreshed. Not addictive.

Ingredients

Each coated tablet of this product contains 150mg of extract (as dry extract) from valerian root (Valeriana Officialis L.)(equivalent to 450-900mg of valerian root). Extraction solvent: ethanol 70% v.v.

This product also contains the following ingredients:
Liquid glucose, silica colloidal anhydrous, cellulose powdered, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, talc, sucrose, calcium carbonate (E170), acacia, tragacanth, white beeswax, carnauba wax, shellac.

Nutritional Information

One tablet contains 150mg of Valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.) root extract, which is equivalent to 450-900mg Valerian whole root.

Each coated tablet contains 35mg of glucose and 136mg of sucrose.

Cautions

Not suitable if under 18 years, pregnant or breastfeeding. May cause drowsiness; if affected, do not drive or operate machinery.

Valerian is a tall, wild plant with strong-scented flowers – particularly liked by cats and dogs! Named after the Latin word ‘valere’, which means ‘to be strong and healthy’, Valerian is well known today as an aid to restful sleep.
