The sunshine vitamin, Vitamin D is needed by all of us from children to expectant mums. Recent research has shown Vitamin D to be of great value in maintaining a healthy immune system. It is also important for strong healthy teeth, bones and muscles and is essential for the absorption of calcium. It plays a role in insulin metabolism, blood cell formation and can be manufactured by the body on exposure to sunlight.Recommended Dosage
Take 1-2 capsules a day (children over 8 years, 1 a day) with meals, or as your health professional advises.If also taking a multivitamin, only take 1 a day.
Do not exceed recommended daily intake.

Sunflower oil, capsules: gelatine, glycerol; vitamin D (as cholecalciferol).Nutritional Information
One capsule typically provides:Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) (500iu) 12.5µg.

Little drops of sunshine - Wed 6th Oct 2010I've had great success with Higher Nature's Vitamin D. I take one tablet on grey cloudy days all year round and in the winter (with dark mornings and evenings) I take at least 2 a day. I've noticed a definate improvement to my mood which usually starts to dip in Sep/Oct. I've been using them for over 2 years and they've helped a great deal. I also find them good value for money. I wouldn't do without them and I've recommended them to friends and family.
