Recommended Dosage

Adults: Begin with 1/2 cube at night. Increase to 1 cube if necessary
Children over 12 years: 1/4 to 1/2 cube

Ingredients

Figs 65%, glycerine, senna leaves 10%, lactose, senna pods 5%, pulp of tamarinds 2.5%, natural orange extract

Cautions

Ortisan is not suitable for babies, during pregnancy and whilst breast feeding.

Other Information

Poor-eating habits, a sudden change in diet (e.g. holidays), stress and lack of exercise can all influence bowel habits. Ortisan Fruit Cubes contain ingredients selected for their gentle action allowing normal regularity usually after the first cube is eaten.

This tastes surprisingly nice (if you like dried fruit), and very gentle on the system too.

I can't remember who recommended these to me, but they're brilliant. I was nervous about trying them at first but have found that the individual cubes can easily be cut into quarters so as to adjust the dose.
