Product Details

Worldwide studies have shown that even with a good diet, extra nutrients may be necessary before and during pregnancy. Pregnacare® has been carefully developed to help safeguard dietary requirements, from the start of trying to conceive, during all of pregnancy, up until the end of breast-feeding. You can start taking Pregnacare® at any point during pregnancy.
Pregnacare® is ideal before conception, throughout pregnancy and if breast-feeding.

Recommended Dosage

One tablet per day with your main meal. Swallow with a glass of water or a cold drink.
Not to be chewed. Do not exceed recommended intake.
Pregnacare® should only be taken on a full stomach.

Ingredients

Tablet Binder: (microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) magnesium oxide, bulkingagent: dibasic calcium phosphate, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), ferrous fumarate, zinc sulphate, tablet coating (hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, natural source colours: titanium dioxide, iron oxides), Vitamin E natural source (D-Alpha tocopheryl acid succinate), lubricants: stearic acid, magnesium stearate, niacin (as nicotinamide), flow agent: silicon dioxide, croscarmelose sodium (disintegrant), Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCI), Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), natural mixed carotenoids (betacarotene), pantothenic acid (as calcium salt), thiamine (vitamin B1 mononitrate), Vitamin D (cholecalciferol, (carriers: acacia, corn starch, medium chain triglycerdies, DL-alpha tocopherol), copper sulphate, rioboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin K, Folacin (folic acid), potassium iodide, biotin, sodium selenate.

Vitamin D (as D3 400 IU) 10µg, Vitamin E 4mg alpha-TE, Vitamin C 70mg, Thiamin (vitamin B1) 3mg, Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 2mg, Niacin (vitamin B3) 20mg NE, Vitamin B6 10mg, Folacin (folic acid) 400µg, Vitamin B12 6µg, Biotin 150µg, Pantothenic acid 6mg, Vitamin K 70µg, Iron 17mg, Magnesium 150mg, Zinc 15mg, Iodine 140µg, Copper 1000µg, Selenium 30µg, Natural mixed carotenoids 2mg.

Cautions

As Pregnacare® contains vitamin K, if you are taking oral anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin) do not take Pregnacare® except on the advice of a doctor.
Vitamin K is not known to specifically interact with the action of aspirin or heparin.
