Biodegradable washing up pad made from luffa.

Product Details

This scouring pad is hand made from luffa, a plant material that locks in carbon then biodegrades. This luffa is grown ethically without petro-chemicals and is produced on the farm in Mindanao, Philippines using only water, sunlight and human energy generating a minimal carbon foot print.

This luffa is durable: It can be used for up to a year. This luffa is tough enough to replace your ordinary washing-up brush.

I bought this one to try when this was on offer. I cut them into 3 smaller sizes, so I can use them to wash much easily. Not like other eco friendly product, while you need to compromise some on the effective for environmental friendly product. I am amazed by its effect, it works better than the top brand sponge I used to use. It lasts longer than the traditional washing sponge and stay clean always. Although it looks rough, it doesn't scratch the surface of my cookware. I am definitely going to use this in the future, not going back to traditional washing sponge.
