Product Details

The Comvita Manuka Honey and Blackcurrant Elixir combines UMF®10+ Manuka honey, Blackcurrant, Zinc and Elderflower in a natural formulation that is designed to support the immune system and help maintain winter wellness. Manuka honey has long been valued for its health-maintaining effects. Now science has helped explain the reason for these long-held beliefs , with New Zealand Manuka Honey gaining worldwide regognition for its unique properties.

Recommended Dosage

Adults: Take 2 teaspoons (10ml) 2-4 times a day, up to to 40ml.

Children 2-8 years : 1/2 teaspoonful (2.5ml) 2-4 times a day
Children 9years - adult : 1 tea spoonful (5ml) 2-4 times a day.

Can be diluted with warm or cold water and extra honey to sweeten.

Usage

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.

Ingredients

Manuka honey 10+, blackcurrant juice concentrate, apple cider vinegar, purified water, elderflower extract, maltodextrin(anti-caking agent), Zinc glutomate, peppermint oil, xanthum gum(thickener), Eucalyptus oil, Tea tree oil, Fennel oil.

Blackcurrants contain high levels of anthocyanins which are an excellent source of healthy fruit flavonoids. Manuka honey and Elderflower have been traditionally used to support the body’s immune responses to winter ills and chills, while Zinc has been proven to play an important role in supporting the immune defences.
