Product Details

Manuka honey has traditionally been valued for its healthy effects. Now science has helped explain the reason for these long-held beliefs, with New Zealand Manuka Honey gaining worldwide recognition for its unique properties.
Proplis contains high levels of active bioflavonoids, which have well know antioxidant properties. Propolis comes from natural resin and sap, part of the defence system of trees. Honey bees collect these materials, add special substances of their own, and turn them into propolis, which they use to protect the hive.

Recommended Dosage

Adults: Take two teaspoonsfuls (10ml) 2-4 times a day up to a maximum of 40ml. Can be mixed with warm water to take as a drink.
Children: Give one teaspoonful (5ml) 2-4 times a day, up to a maximum of 20ml. Dilute with warm water and sweeten with honey as necessary. Not to be given to children under two years of age without medical advice.

Ingredients

Each 10ml contains:
Multiflora honey, apple (malus spp) cider vinegar, manuka (Leptospermum scoparium) honey 1.3g, water, vitamin C (as ascorbic acid), propolis extract 104mg, peppermint (Mentha piperita) oil, carrageenan, xanthan gum, eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) oil, clove (Syzygium aromaticum) leaf oil, tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) oil, fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) oil, fenugreek (Trigonella feonum graecum) oleoresin.

I have had a bad throat infection so have been dosing myself up with this elixer. it is soothing.
A little strong on its own but in a little hot water its great. The vapours from the steam clear my blocked nose very well.

I have (or should I say had) a really poor immune system. I used to catch everything... all I had to do was think about a cold and I would get one! A friend recommended I try taking manuka honey with propolis for 2 reasons.

1, Manuka honey has great healing properties so when I was getting that slightly annoying sore throat I would take some of this and find that rather than developing into something, it would just go away.

2. Propolis boosts your immune system. I noticed that I haven't had anything in ages, even though I have been surrounded by people with all sorts of sicknesses :( coughs, colds, sore throats and there was even a massive tummy bug going round! I didn't catch any of them.... this stuff really works. I recommend it to anyone wanting to boost their immune system :)
