Product Details

A.Vogel herbamare is a herbal seasoning salt prepared from a combination of 12 fresh, organically grown herbs and vegetables made according to the original formula of the famous swiss naturopath A.Vogel.
The fresh ingredients are combined with natural sea salt and allowed to "steep" for up to 12 months. The moisture is then removed by a special vaccum process at low temperature, allowing all the goodness of the ingredients to be absorbed by the salt crystals.

Ingredients

Sea salt, celery leaves, leek, cress (water and garden), onion, chive, parsley, lovage, garlic, basil, marjoram, rosemary, thyme, kelp (with trace iodine).

Nutritional Information

Per 100g:
Energy 90kj, Protein less than 0.5g, Fat total less than 0.5g (saturated less than 0.5g), Carbohydrate 4.5g (sugars 0g), Sodium 37000mg.

This salt has got a very deep taste that comes from the rich mix of vegetables and herbs involved in its preparation. It is very high quality and goes well with everything. I especially like it with pulses.

Salt not a herb - Fri 20th May 2011
I've been using herbamare for years, however think that it should be under the salt category since it is mainly salt with a small amount of herb seasoning. The flavour is exceptional and makes any dish 100 times better. I cannot recommend this product more, worth every penny.
