Lavendar Oil is a natural relaxant, add a few drops to bath water, put a drop on your pillow or a handkerchief and gently inhaled can aid relaxation. Alternatively diffuse the relaxing lavender oil in a vaporiser in the bedroom to aid a good nights sleep.

Usage

Lavender can also help daily stresses and anxieties. Pour a drop of lavender oil into a tissue tucked into a sleeve to help with anxieties during the day.

Cautions

Do not take internally, do not use undiluted on the skin. If pregnant, always seek medical advice before use.

Lavendar and burns - Tue 16th Mar 2010
A tip you might not know about regarding burns, Lavender oil applied generously as soon after the burn has occurred as possible will do a wonderful job of stopping even a blister. It was discovered by a chap who was preparing oils, he burnt himself and instinctively dipped his hand in the nearest bowl which happened to contain lavender oil, he was amazed by the results, and my whole family and friends have been convinced by my ministrations and have now stored a bottle in their kitchen where the accidents usually happen.
