Reduced Salt Yeast ExtractAverage Reviews Customer Reviews Write Review

This is totally delicious, tasting a little like the yummy caramelised bits you're left with at the bottom of the tray when you've been roasting chicken. It's nowhere near as salty as Marmite, so you can taste its flavour, rather than just a whole load of salt. It is my absolute favourite spread on toast at breakfast time, although it's also good mixed with tahin or peanut butter in sandwiches.

I really like this, it's not too strong and tastes naturally salty so you don't really notice the reduced salt content. It's good spread with melted coconut oil on warm toast.

Totally delicious with butter on crumpets or toasting muffins. We get a bit desperate if we run out of this stuff!

Lovely tasting, salty, yeasty goo! Apply it to sandwiches to add a marmite-like flavour in or to dry crackers and breads. It uses sea salt which is important for me.

You get what you pay for with this, as it is the best tasting yeast extract I've tried yet, and I've had every brand on sale! If you're a fan of yeasty speads you wont be disappointed with this product, it does have a more fluid consistency to other brands but that is not necessarily a negative. I also like to use this in cooking to add flavour to my sauces.

The nicest yeast extract we have ever tried, delicious on toast and for adding to dishes that need a bit more flavour. It's quite expensive but worth every penny.

I find this the best yeast extract - not as 'bitter' as the other marmite look alikes and with a very slightly sweet background taste. Definitely worth a try (and I bet, like me, you will be addicted

I'm not a marmite or vegemite fan, but don't go in for the love it/hate it thing that the rest of the world jokes about with. It just tastes like weird salty stuff to me and I'd rather have something sweet on my toast. This product on the other hand tastes utterly and irredeemably vile and I can still feel it in my stomach hours later. My daughter loved Vegemite though until she had to stop eating it due to coeliac disease (it has malted barley in it). She enjoyed this new stuff so much that she asked for third helpings and so I think that means it must be the perfect love it/hate it yeast extract and so it gets 5 stars.
