Serving Suggestion

Sun Dried Tomato Paste is an essential culinary ingredient. Spoon straight from the jar onto warm pasta and top with fresh parmesan cheese. Try combining it with Pesto Rosso. Pomodori Secchi Dip can be made by combining equal quantities of sun dried tomato paste and creme fraiche. Chill and serve as a flavoursome dip for crudities, breadsticks or chips.

Rehydrated sun dried tomatoes (62%), vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, sea salt, herbs.

I was looking for a tasty tomato pasta I could use for quick pasta lunches to mix simply with olive oil. This Zest paste fits the bill very well. With my IBS I find tomato skins can irritate my tummy so I am cautious about sun dried tomatoes. I've tried other brands that have felt quite bitty/gritty with small but noticeable pieces of skin. Zest pasta is pretty smooth and I don't notice any skin - my tummy approves too! Tastes great.
