I have to say this is a great concept but it didn't quite work... So far I have tried two and they both failed equally. They kind of half cooked the burgers and sausages and I had to finish them in a frying pan, which is an anti-climax, especially after waiting for sooo long to get the thing started... it takes way more than 20 minutes as specified on the pack. So the second time I put in 6 pieces of If You Care firelighters, hoping it would help, because the problem with these disposable barbecues is that there doesn't seem to be enough charcoal, and the pieces are too small, and it doesn't ignite properly. Even if you shake it etc. and follow instructions to the letter, it is very tedious. Even with the firelighters it didn't burn long enough to cook the meat. By the time you have waited for the charcoal to be coated with ashes, most of them are actually off because they are such tiny pieces. The last thing is that it is way too small! I fitted six standard sausages and three normal burgers on it with difficulty, and they completely uncooked an the edges. A bit of a fiasco but if I have missed a trick let me know!
