Product Details

Simpkins replace any sucrose conventionally used in chocolate with maltitol which is a little more acceptable to diabetics. Please note though, if you are diabetic, you are as a general rule, better off avoiding sugary carbohydrates.

Ingredients

Sweetener (maltitol), cocoa butter, whole milk in powder, inulin, emulsifier (soya lecithin), flavouring (vanillin).

Nutritional Information

Typical values per 100g:
Energy 1943kJ/469kcal, Proteins 6g, Carbohydrates 59g, of which sugars 9g, polyols 50g, Starch 0g, Fat 32g, of which saturates 20g, Fibre 1g, Sodium 0.07g.

Cautions

Does not contain transfat. May contain traces of nuts.
Excessive consumption may cause a laxative effect.

It's a bit too sweet, but I don't mind as we are talking about chocolate here.. :) The only thing is, that excessive consumption can cause a laxative effect, so it's not worth eating more than 2 rows at once..
