Althought this bread is very filling and is fat free etc, the taste is really not that great to an untrained pallate. It takes some getting used to and is not very easy to toast either. The size of the loaf means that the slices of bread sink into and get lost in the toaster, and in addition to this, the bread just does not want to seem to toast, it eventually just gets a bit chewier and then edible with butter or spread.

All that said, I will purchase again.

I found this a great tasting bread, with the weight and texture of a very moist, heavy fruit loaf. I loved it!
If you want to toast it it is easier to do it under the grill rather than in a toaster because the slices are small.
You don't need a lot to be full, it is a dense bread. Very nice just as it is with a spread of tahini.

We have found it handy to always have a loaf of this in the fridge - it keeps for a long time unopened, and the size of the loaf means that once you do open it you can easily finish it in the three days it says it should be used by once opened. Very useful to have around.
