Very thick - Tue 14th May 2013
This is a very thick, sticky spread - kind of like fruit tar. It has a strong taste too so a little goes a long way but be careful when spreading over fluffy bread as you could rip the bread with this spread on the knife. This is better suited to bagels etc and imo is very sweet.

I concur with another review who has said it's like a thick sweet tar. Might be too sweet for some but is not as bad as the Sunwheel brand which gives me a headache (I'm very sensitive though). Using small amounts is probably best but ultimately is made from 100% fruit so not unhealthy per se, just very high energy (basically it's fruit juice solidified by boiling it).
