Product Details

Rich in antioxidants and low in caffeine, Qi Organic White Christmas tea is warming and spicy. Each tea bag is individually wrapped and sealed to preserve freshness and flavour. Delicate white tea blended with an abundance of warming organic mulled wine spices - cinnamon, cloves, ginger and orange.

This is a very fragrant but gentle tasting tea. A warm spicy aroma greets you as you take the lid off this tin. The cinnamon scent is pretty strong, but doesn't quite follow through into flavour. However as the cup goes on the flavour strengthens and lingers pleasantly. Faintly spicy but not overpowering or sweet. Infused with a barely noticeable hint of ginger and orange to refresh and soothe any overindulgence.

White tea (80%), cassia bark, cloves, ginger, orange flavour.

Qi works directly with the co-operative of small independent farmers who harvest their tea high in the mountains of southern China. Their special, long-standing relationship provides Qi with distinctive mellow teas and the farmers with a fair price and guaranteed income. Spring-harvested at high altitude tea leaves are carefully selected for Qi's delicious, award-winning teas which are rich in antioxidants.

The organic fairtrade premium for this tea goes towards the welfare of children at Qi Herbal Health's tea gardens in China

Finally! A Christmas tea that is green and not black. This is probably my favourite QI tea. It is spicy and delicious. The spice blend is good -- many Christmas teas taste strongly of cinnamon or are a subtler twist on chai, but this definitely has that Christmas spice taste with no spices featuring more prominently than others.
