I've tried lots of vegan mayonnaises and none of them come close to this one. It's really creamy, a little bit tangy and actually tastes like mayonnaise. :)

Plamil Egg Free Mayo reminds me of the mayonnaise I used to eat as a child; it has just the right amount of tartness and creaminess but just like the mayonnaise of yore, it is quite fattening. However, that aside, its uses are identical to it's egg-laden cousin and therefore just as versatile.

I wanted to try mayo without additives so I tried this one (I wasn't particularly looking for egg-free mayo). It tastes slightly tart and it feels quite oily and takes oily as well. Because it doesn't use any egg, I presume it needs to be supplemented by other source of oil/fat so this is kind of inevitable. Maybe this is a good alternative who are looking for egg-free mayo but unfortunately we didn't like it so much. Oh well, you never know until you try!

This is the benchmark dairy-free mayonnaise to which all others compare. It has the best texture and the freshest flavour of any I've tried - thick and creamy with just enough sharpness, and always tastes better just out of the fridge.
