A very decent vegan replacement for mayonnaise. Has quite a tang to it, which I quite like.

Try making tartare sauce by mixing mayonnaise with chopped green herbs, finely chopped shallots, a little mustard and some finely chopped capers.

The best vegan mayo I - Wed 10th Oct 2012
Vegan mayos (and salad creams) are a bit hit and miss, especially if you are looking for something that tastes exactly like dairy/poultry mayo. All the ones I have tried are an acquired taste and this is no exception, however, it is imo the easiest one to get used to and like the taste of. It has a somewhat tangy taste whereas regular mayo is pretty tasteless but still addictive. The Plamil mayo however is not only healthy and moorish but healthy too - and it has the most similar texture to regular mayo that I've come across. So after a few tries it's easy to want this on you food like you would regular mayo.
