Paterson's oatcakes are palm oil free, they're made with olive oil - the heart of a good Mediterranean diet. They are also free from hydrogenated fats and contains only 2.9% saturated fat per 100g. A perfect choice for those watching their intake, and are ideal for those trying to reduce their wheat intake as they are made from 100% wheat-free recipe.

Wholegrain oats release energy more slowly than sugar so our oatcakes delay those dreaded hunger pangs for longer! They are also a source of soluble fibre which can help reduce blood cholesterol levels.

Finally I have found oatcakes that do NOT contain palm oil. Being on a wheat free, dairy free diet but also avoiding palm oil it is near impossible to find oat cakes in the shops without palm oil! Well done Goodness Direct on making this product easy to find and available on your site. They taste delicious too!

I would highly recommend these oatcakes. They are healthier and more ethical due to containing olive oil instead of palm oil. They also do not contain raising agents (such as sodium bicarbonate)which appear to be in all the other types of oatcakes I have looked at.

I try to avoid palm oil as much as I can so I've been buying Paterson's Oatcakes for quite some time. They are the tastiest oatcakes I've ever tried and as I'm on a wheat and yeast free vegan diet, they are perfect for me!
