Serving Suggestion
Stir a little ground cinnamon and/or ground ginger to taste.
Add agave syrup or runny honey.
Add some dried fruit.
Add some fresh seasoned fruits.
Cooking Instructions
For 1 portion
On the hob: Pour half a cup of Nairn's oats into a saucepan. Fill the same cup to the top with milk or cold water and add to the oats. Bring to the boil stiring all the time, reduce the heat to simmer and gently stir for 2½ minutes. Add either salt or sugar.
microwave :Pour half a cup of Nairn's oats into a deep micro-wave bowl. Fill same cup to the top with milk or cold water and add to the oats. Stir well and microwave on either power level 700w for 2 minutes or power level 900w for 1½ minutes. Add either salt or sugar.
