Pleasant, but does have a slight - Sun 22nd Aug 2010
I enjoyed this product, although it does have a slight 'porridgey' taste to it. While not at all unpleasant, it just means that it's easier to tell that you are not having real cream. I actually enjoyed the flavour and found it very tasty with coffee. I would buy it again and would consider it an excellent choice for those who can't have soya.

Excellen product! - Thu 28th Oct 2010
This has got to be one of my favourite non-dairy finds! I use it to make kormas, on strawberries, and pour it on apple crumble, as well as using it in cooking. I've also served it to people who eat dairy and they have commented on how good it is.

We use this non-dairy cream as our two sons are allergic to both dairy and soya. It's so nice to be able to cook 'safe' creamy foods for them. It's absolutely fantastic with pasta. I have also made chicken supreme with it, and it works well. I do find that adding a small amount of cornflour mixed with cold water towards the end of cooking gives the cream a better texture and helps it to coat other ingredients better. The only type of recipes we have found unsuccessful with it is ice-cream...it doesn't freeze well at all.

Smooth and Creamy - Sun 14th Oct 2012
Excellent dairy cream substitute. As another reviewer notes, there is a (unsurprising) mild oat flavour, but it's only subtle and not at all off-putting. The texture is smooth and creamy, somewhat thicker than the soya cream substitutes I've tried, which is nice. Happily it lacks the slight chalkiness that can be found with soy products. And best of all it's not at all sugary, so can be used for both sweet and savoury dishes. Most definitely worth trying for anyone who excludes dairy products from their diet.

This is a nice alternative to soya cream for those who are dairy intolerant. It tastes nice and sweet I buy this for family members who are dairy intolerant and they all really like it.

One of the best! - Wed 26th Dec 2012
I've just used this for our vegan family Xmas and I was so pleased with it, I usually use coconut cream and 'made-up' alternatives for cream but this was so easy to cook with and didn't have the aftertaste coconut cream has and had a much better consistency than the makeshift ones I use. This thickens the dish nicely without being too watery, I've yet to try it in desserts but I'm looking forward to it now!

For savory and sweet. - Sun 5th May 2013
I was so happy when I discovered this. You can use it in story or sweet dishes. Just add a bit of honey if you want a really sweet dairy free cream. And it's not a bad price either!
