Serving Suggestion

An energy boost to start your day. Why not try some natural yoghurt and fresh fruit compote?
A great lunch box alternative to the traditional sandwich.
For a quick bite try adding some parma ham.

Ingredients

Wholegrain oats (83%), sustainable palm oil, sea salt, raising agents (sodium bicarbonate, ammonium bicarbonate)

Nutritional Information

Typical values per 100g:
Energy 1994kJ/477kcal, protein 11.3g, available carbohydrate 51.6g (of which sugars 1g), fat 25g (of which saturates 10.1g), fibre 8.0g, salt 1.1g, sodium 0.78g.

Cautions

Not suitable if you are allergic to the protein Avenin.
Manufactured on equipment that handles milk.

Other Information

Naturally oats do not contain gluten but are usually contaminated by other gluten grains. Nairns gluten free oats are uncontaminated, being grown in separate fields, milled in uncontaminated conditions and are also made in a dedicated Nairn's bakery.

These are beautiful...and for those who can tolerate oat proteins, but not any gluten which might be contaminating ordinary oats, a great alternative...they're neither as sweet(nor to me, as cloying), as Nairn's fine oatcakes, but are much 'rounder' in taste than their rough type...I personally like them with homemade smoked mackerel pate, or hummus - but beware, they're quite crumbly !
