Mornflake's Oats 2 Go are full of complex carbohydrates, which release energy slowly to keep you going until lunchtime. They cook in just 2 minutes, so if your mornings are a rush Oats 2 Go are ideal for a nutritious breakfast!

And now breakfast just got even tastier - for generations British families have enjoyed their porridge with Lyle's Golden Syrup. Now the same unique taste and aroma of Lyle's Golden Syrup is available in these porridge sachets, specially created to help you enjoy the goodness of porridge oats.

Cooking Instructions

In the microwave:
Mix sachet contents and 180ml of milk in a non-metallic bowl and cook on full power for 1 minute*. Give them a dtir and pop back in and cook for a further minute. Stand for 1 minute and then tuck in, but be careful the contents will still be hot.

*Based on 800W microwave oven so if yours is different adjust time accordingly, a lower wattage microwave will need about 1/2 minute longer cooking time.

On the hob:
Pour 180ml milk into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir in the contents of one sachet and return to the boil. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally until it's ready to serve.

Ingredients

Mornflake British wholegrain oatflakes(69%), sugar, natural flavouring,stabiliser: soya lecithin (soya lethicin is added to help prevent the porridge boiling over in the microwave).

Per 100g:
Energy 1596kj/378kcal, Protein 8.3g, Carbohydrates 69.5g (of which sugars 29.7g), Fat 5.8g (of which saturates 0.9g), Dietary fibre 7.4g, sodium trace (equivalent as salt trace).

This Scot was less than impressed. The syrup flavour is a definite no-no and it left an unpleasant lingering aftertaste.
