Green & Black’s started out with humble origins back in 1991 in a small office on Portobello Road, however the company has gone from strength to strength, and has become a widely recognised, leading brand in the chocolate market. The Green and Black’s name itself tells us about the company’s founding principles, ‘Green’ representing their organic credentials, and ‘Black’, the rich dark colour of the chocolate. It’s not just a name though, they have created a tasting experience like no other, making these chocolates a very popular choice with many chocolate lovers.

Other Information

Green & Black's Cocoa is made from cocoa beans grown by family farmers, in the shade of rainforest trees where they thrive without the need for chemicals. The cocoa growers are spared the harmful effects associated with toxic agrochemicals, and wild creatures are protected too.
The beans are harvested at the perfect point of ripeness, then carefully cured and dried to maximise the smooth, complex flavours of this delicious cocoa.

A very good quality product, nice taste and intensive colour. I noticed much darker, chocolaty colour from Green & Black's Cocoa when I didn't have enough for a cup once and added more of another good quality cocoa from a supermarket, that's were you notice the difference.
