Excellent chestnuts - Sun 12th Jun 2011
The product description claims 'They are the best chestnuts in the world' and while I can't know if that is the case, these are certainly the best chestnuts I've ever tasted. Sweet, quality chestnuts- thoroughly recommended.

chestnuts - Sun 11th Dec 2011
The St Dalfour chestnuts are a delight to eat, I consider that it is just as cheap to buy them bottled as buying fresh ones. They are very good value.

Nutty Cabbage & Kale - Wed 21st Dec 2011
Try braising shredded red cabbage with a little olive oil and some red wine, stirring occasionally. Season to taste and add cooked curly leaf kale and some cooked. Peeled chestnuts for a fantastic side dish.
