Product Details

Comvita Manuka Honey is sourced from New Zealand's remote, pollution free native forests and is world renowned for it's unique flavour. Comvita Manuka Honeys are tested for the unique antibacterial properties which make New Zealand Manuka honey famous.

Recommended Dosage

Take 1-2 tsp half an hour before meals.

Energy 1320kJ, Protein 0.4g, Total Fat ,0.1g (of which saturates ,0.1g), Carbohydrates 80g (of which sugars 78g)

Other Information

The New Zealand Honey Assoc has registered UMF as a trademark so that the antibacterial activity of Manuka honey cannot be misrepresented. The UMF number comes from a laboratory test for antibacterial activity, with the honey being compared with a standard reference antiseptic (phenol) for potency. UMF 20+ would be equivalent in antiseptic potency to a 20% solution of phenol.

I use Manuka honey for many different purposes and had my doctor laugh at me the first time I mentioned it to her, so I showed her a leaflet, giving the uses the national health has for it! she may not be convinced but she does not laugh at my corny ideas any longer.

This is an excellent health product! I always find 'Comvita UMF 20 Active Manuka Honey' gives me an energy boost when I'm feeling run down with a cold or viral infection. It seems to lessen the severity of the symptoms such as sore throats, runny nose and fatigue and seems to speed up my recovery from an infection. I can highly recommend it!
