Spicy Peanut Slaw - Tue 17th Jan 2012
First make a dressing. Fry 1 finely sliced shallot and 1 crushed garlic clove in 1 tbsp groundnut oil until soft. Stir in 50 g crunchy peanut butter, the juice of a lime, 1 tsp caster sugar, 1 tbsp soya sauce and 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or more, to taste). Add around 6 tbsp water and heat until the sauce has combined. Blend until smooth and leave to cool. Meanwhile make a salad of chopped/grated/sliced red cabbage, red and green peppers, carrots, celery, spring onions and bean sprouts. Add some finely chopped red chilli, bean sprouts and a few fresh mint leaves. Toss the salad with the dressing and serve garnished with peanuts.

I use it for satays too. Normal peanut butter often has peanut oil, sugar and/or salt added, so here you just get pure peanuts. Might need a stir though as sometimes it settles.

It's so hard to find peanut butter that's just peanuts, but this is it. So good, no added salt or sugar. I could just scoop it out of the jar and eat it on a spoon.

Meridian Peanut Butter Crunchy No Salt - Thu 8th Nov 2012
This is definitely the nicest peanut butter I have ever tasted. And since it is also free from added salt and added sugar, I guess that also makes it the healthiest peanut butter I've ever eaten. - And add to that the fact that I bought it with 55% extra fill for free, what more can I say! - What's not to like?
