Product Details

Their mackerel comes from sustainably managed stock and is fished by trawlers using large nets that are set around schools of moving fish between mid November to mid April when the fish is at its best in terms of fat content. The fishing boats follow the migration of the mackerel schools from the channel through to the north of Scotland and the west of Ireland.

I bought the Fish4Ever Mackerel initially for ethical reasons, even though it costs a bit more than the supermarket brands. In fact the fish is so delicious that it's well worth the extra money just for the pleasure of eating really good food.
